Brady Cosgrove (Director and Managing Director)
Brady has extensive experience in fire safety engineering within the building construction industry with over 17 years experience as a practising fire engineer. He has also applied his risk assessment skills to various large instructional sites.

His primary role within the company today is as the Managing Director - although he still has an involvement in some fire safety projects when required.
Brady is married with two children and when not in the office enjoys skiing in Canterbury and fishing in Kaikoura. He can also be found enjoying a round of Golf at Harewood or challenging himself through the Moleworth Muster mountain bike race.
Michael Dunn (Associate)
Mike is the Senior Fire Associate and has been practising for 20 years. Mike originally qualified as a Hydro-Mechanical Engineer and worked in the hydro electric industry for eight years. Mike then returned to full time study and completed a Masters in Fire engineering, which sparked his interest in the building industry.
Mike has worked for Cosgroves for over ten years and has held the primary responsibility for the fire engineering on a number of projects including; hotels, hospitals, prisons, office towers and apartment blocks. His experience covers all aspects of design, documentation, contract administration, including the carrying out of risk assessments and design of specialised fire protection systems.
Outside the office his time is shared with his family and he has an interest in jet boating, volleyball, model boats and mountain biking.
Christine Duncan (Associate)
Christine Duncan is a Senior Fire Safety Engineer and Associate, specialising in performance-based fire engineering and risk analysis of buildings and structures.
Christine has previously worked as a Fire Engineer with the Building Research Association of New Zealand (BRANZ) undertaking fire research and fire testing of building products. Christine has worked as a consultant engineer in Australia and the UK and brings extensive international experience to projects.
Christine's particular interest is in how people behave in fire conditions. She uses her knowledge of evacuation requirements to develop universal access, egress and evacuation strategies for buildings and developments. Christine has also provided Access Consultancy in the UK, which considers the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act and has an understanding of the requirements for large crowd people movement.
Christine has an extensive number of publications in the area of fire safety; copies of which can be provided on request.
