Cosgroves provided Electrical Consulting for this prestigious new Winery complex at Mangere, Auckland. The complex consists of a warehouse (4,710mē), bottling hall, winery, barrel hall, administration area and amenities buildings. The staged construction of the various buildings was tight and geared around the vintage. This meant that it was essential for services to be complete, commissioned and operational at the right time.
The Services included full design, liaising with relevant authorities and contract observation.
Future stages will include restaurant, accommodation, villas and guest lodge.
As a spin off from this project Cosgroves were engaged to review, analyse and report on the power factor at all Villa Maria sites, as a result of this we were able to make recommendations that on implementation would save approximately $38,000.00 per annum across their four winery sites, with capital expenditure required of $62,000.00 the pay back period of just over eighteen months made good economic sense to our client.
