Building 3 was the second building to be completed at the Post Office Precinct site in central Queenstown. The building is a three storey plus basement structure. The anchor tenant is the Pig and Whistle bar and restaurant, with office tenancies on the top floor.
Cosgroves provided Mechanical, Electrical and Fire engineering consultancy for the Base Building services.
The exterior lighting design received two awards at the 2007 Illumination Engineering Society Awards, the awards were:
- Dark Sky Award
- Commendation award for general illumination
