We provide comprehensive electrical design solutions including reticulation systems, switchboards, emergency power systems, lighting and power layouts, intelligent buildings, electric heating, structured cabling solutions (IT), security and MATV systems.

We specialise in performance based fire safety review and design for both new and existing buildings. Specialist fire engineering tools such as computer-based CFD modelling are used to develop solutions that are safe, minimise visual impact and meet our clients' needs for function and cost.

Mechanical & Hydraulic
We provide mechanical and hydraulic design services as well as technical advice. We cover heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, plumbing, drainage, medical and LPG gases. Cosgroves were the first in New Zealand to use impulse ventilation technology. We can also complete thermal and energy computer modelling and advice on intelligent and BMS controls.

Cosgroves has a team of engineers who are accredited professionals in Sustainable Design including GreenStar and NABERS. We have significantly invested in computer based design tools that allow us to undertake analyisis and calculations in a wide range of
Civil
Civil
Cosgroves undertake design for land development, roading, stormwater, wastewater and water supplies. Our Civil team, led by Callum Wood, have proven experience delivery projects throughout New Zealand. We are able to act as lead consultant or provide a design only service to suit your needs.
BIM
BIM
The delivery of documentation using 3D Revit modelling software is now commonplace at Cosgroves. All but the very smallest of our projects are drafted in Revit as a matter of course. Cosgroves has a strong BIM team led by Stefan Nikoloff. The team has a robust design development/coordination quality management process in place, which is now well established and a default activity on our projects.
